Keenan, who began his NHL coaching career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1984, is revered not only for his sharp coaching mind but also for his resilience and tenacity, qualities that earned him the nickname "Iron Mike".
After transitioning from head coach to hockey consultant for the Italian national team, Keenan continues to influence the sport beyond the bench.
His coaching tenure with the Chicago Blackhawks, spanning from 1988 to 1992, is particularly notable.
