Jaxson Stauber strikes new deal with Utah hockey club.

Jaxson Stauber, the 25-year-old goaltender from Minnesota, has secured a new chapter in his career, signing a one-year, two-way contract with the Utah Hockey Club for the 2024-25 season.
Stauber, known for his remarkable agility and prowess between the pipes, has left a significant mark in his roles within both the NHL and AHL.
Starting his journey in the major league with the Chicago Blackhawks, Stauber managed an impressive feat, clinching victories in five of his six starts.
His performance in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs was equally noteworthy.
Despite a challenging record of 6-8-0 in the 2022-23 season, he boasted a save percentage of .894, showcasing his resilience and skill under pressure.
The impact of Stauber's departure will be profoundly felt by both his former NHL team and their AHL affiliate, the IceHogs.
Standing tall at 6'3" and weighing 174 pounds, his absence leaves a gap not easily filled. In his tenure with the IceHogs, he not only defended the net but also contributed offensively, leading all goaltenders in scoring with a record of 1 goal and 4 assists.
His defensive stats were just as impressive, with a .902 save percentage and an 18-8-3 record, including two shutouts.
As Stauber embarks on this exciting new venture with the Utah Hockey Club, his former teams, the Blackhawks and the IceHogs, bid him farewell and good luck.
His growth from a promising talent to a key player has been a journey of hard work and dedication, promising great potential for his future endeavors in Utah.
