Tragic loss: The Gaudreau brothers' fatal encounter with drunk driver Sean Higgins.

In a heart-wrenching incident that has left a community in mourning, brothers Matthew Gaudreau and Johnny Gaudreau, aged 29 and 31 respectively, lost their lives in a collision involving a drunk driver, 43-year-old Sean Higgins.
The devastating event unfolded as Higgins, under the influence of alcohol, failed to control his vehicle, leading to a fatal accident.
Unsettling Revelations from the Investigation The details emerging from the investigation into this tragic accident are deeply disturbing.
Reports from the scene indicated that Higgins had a significantly high blood alcohol level, which impaired his driving ability and resulted in reckless behavior on the road.
Sean Higgins' Admission and Charges In a statement released by the police, it was revealed that Higgins admitted to consuming "five to six beers" prior to the accident.
His impaired judgment and impatience were apparent, as he confessed to believing that the SUV driven by the Gaudreau brothers was attempting to block him.
"The New Jersey resident failed a blood alcohol test at the scene of the crash, according to the New Jersey news outlet, confirming that his drinking contributed to his impatience and reckless driving."
