The Chicago Blackhawks plans to sign veteran forwards have been addressed

Chicago Blackhawks insider Scott Powers from The Athletic, a seasoned reporter with deep ties to the organization, has shared that the Blackhawks' front office is expected to deliberate on re-signing Kane in the coming weeks.
I was confident they weren't going to re-sign him last summer. Up until a few weeks ago. I've heard enough in the past few weeks to believe that the Blackhawks are going to at least internally discuss whether to re-sign Kane.

Said Scott Powers.
I'm sure he'd like to make a run at Stan Mikita's franchise points record (Kane needs 242 points to match Mikita) or be in a Blackhawks jersey as he goes after Mike Modano's career numbers as the top U.S.-born player.

Said Scott Powers.
Kane, who is set to enter the free agent market after completing a one-year, $2.75 million deal with the Detroit Red Wings signed last November, has reportedly shown interest in returning to Chicago, IF the offer comes from General Manager Kyle Davidson, according to Powers.
The Blackhawks ensured a smooth transition when Kane was traded, potentially paving the way for a reunion that now seems increasingly likely.
