Blackhawks reportedly targeting these three names in free agency

Under the guidance of General Manager Kyle Davidson, the team boasts one of the NHL's most promising prospect pools, featuring Connor Bedard, Frank Nazar, Kevin Korchinski, and Alex Vlasic.
As the Blackhawks look to enhance their lineup, the upcoming free agency period offers a prime opportunity to add the final pieces to the puzzle. Here are some potential targets for the team:
The Blackhawks need to continue enhancing their roster with top talent. While Steven Stamkos might be a tempting addition, the team isn't yet in their winning window.
Instead, maintaining the youth movement is crucial. Martin Necas, who is finishing his $3 M AAV bridge deal, will be a restricted free agent who could significantly boost the Blackhawks' offensive capabilities.
With their ample assets and picks, the Blackhawks can outbid other teams for Necas, who brings playoff experience from his 59 games and consistently produces 50+ points per season.
Necas would shine as a star in Chicago, contributing to their future postseason success.
Consistent goaltending has been a persistent issue for the Blackhawks. With Petr Mrazek holding the fort behind an inconsistent defense and Arvid Soderblom not yet ready to be a starter, the team faces a dilemma.
Ilya Samsonov, a 27-year-old unrestricted free agent this summer, could be the solution. Despite some playoff inconsistencies in Toronto, Samsonov demonstrated reliability during the regular season.
He is finishing a contract that paid him $3.55 million AAV and is due for a raise, making his departure from the Leafs likely.

The Blackhawks, with nearly $34 million in cap space, can afford to bring him in. A 2-3-year contract for Samsonov would alleviate pressure on Mrazek and give Soderblom and Drew Commesso time to develop in the AHL, providing the team flexibility as they aim for contender status.

The Blackhawks' defense remains a work in progress until prospects in the pipeline are ready, which could take a few years.
In the meantime, a veteran defender like Filip Hronek could be invaluable. Hronek, a 26-year-old right-handed defenseman, has been a consistent producer for Detroit and Vancouver, scoring a crucial goal in Vancouver's Game 7 loss against the Edmonton Oilers.
The Canucks face tough decisions with $25 million in cap space and nine players to re-sign or replace.
If GM Patrik Allvin decides to move on from Hronek, the Blackhawks should seize the opportunity to acquire him, solidifying their defensive lineup.
