Dmitri Filimonov, a seasoned defenseman known for his time with the Ottawa Senators and Dynamo
Moscow, has tragically passed away at the age of 52.
The sports world mourns the sudden loss of a player who left a lasting mark both in the NHL and international arenas.
Drafted in 1991 by the Winnipeg Jets, Filimonov's early career was rooted in his homeland, Russia, where he showcased his skills with Dynamo Moscow.
