Another injury has hit the Chicago Blackhawks, this time to their top 2024 first-round pick, defenseman Artyom Levshunov.

Fans were eager to see Levshunov compete against teams like the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild in upcoming matchups, but he will now be sidelined due to a foot injury. The injury, sustained during practice before joining the Blackhawks, requires him to wear a boot for a few weeks to aid healing.
Levshunov was spotted observing practice from the bench, but there's no timeline for his return to the ice. While this setback will prevent him from participating in the upcoming prospects tournament, Blackhawks fans hope to see him develop his game soon, likely in the AHL, where he'll have the opportunity to showcase his skills once he's recovered.
