Bob Jones, esteemed hockey coach, passes away at 54.

In a somber announcement, the Ottawa Senators confirmed the passing of assistant coach Bob Jones at the age of 54, after a valiant battle with ALS.

Known for his profound impact on the hockey world, Jones's legacy spans across major junior hockey and into the professional ranks.
Jones began his career as a formidable player, joining the Ontario Hockey League's Soo Greyhounds in 1985, where his leadership on ice was undeniable.
Transitioning from player to coach, Jones left an indelible mark on several OHL teams, including the Sudbury Wolves, Windsor Spitfires, and the Brampton Battalion.
His coaching career was characterized by a deep commitment to developing young talent, earning him respect and admiration throughout the hockey community.
In 2019, Jones took his extensive experience to the NHL, joining the Ottawa Senators as an assistant coach.
